[Ahmad]
Narrated `Abbad bin Tamim: My uncle asked Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) about a person who imagined to have passed wind during the prayer. Allah’ Apostle replied: “He should not leave his prayers unless he hears sound or smells something.” [Al-Bukhari]
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (rad): Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Satan comes to one of you in Salat and blows air in his bottom, so he imagines that he has realised air yet he did not. So if he gets that feeling he should not leave his prayer unless he hears the sound (of the air) or smells its odour.” [Reported by Al-Bazzar].

Uthman b. Abu al-‘As reported that he came to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Allah’s Messenger, the Satan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Qur’an and he confounds me. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said:, That is (the doing of a) Satan (devil) who is known as Khinzab, and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it and spit three times to your left. I did that and Allah dispelled that from me. [Muslim]

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The yawning as from the devil. So when one of you yawns he should try to restrain it as far as it lies in his power. [Muslim]

The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: When one of you yawns, he should keep his mouth shut with the help of his hand, for it is the devil that enters therein. [Muslim]
