Allah subhana wa ta’ala commanded Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the following ayah:
🔵 ❝Say (O Muhammad ﷺ to mankind): If you (really) love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.❞ [Ali Imran 3 : 31]

I want everyone to please remember this: Allah says that if we love Him, then we will follow Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Therefore, the more we follow his sunnah, the more Allah will love us in return. Consider also the following hadith:

🔵 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: ❝All my followers will enter Paradise, except those who refuse.❞
They said: ❝O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Who will refuse (to enter Paradise)?❞
He (ﷺ) said: ❝Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it).❞ [Sahih Al-Bukhari 7280]

🔵 And Allah subhana wa ta’ala says: ❝O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (ﷺ) calls you to that which will give you life…❞ [Al-Anfal 8 : 24]

When we follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, it will bring us life, barakah, and happiness in shaa Allah.
May Allah make us those who love to follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as much as possible, and protect us from ever becoming those who reject his sunnah. Ameen.
