This was a lecture conducted back in 2019, where Sh. Majed Mahmoud shared the story of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail (peace be upon them), and the profound test of their imaan and submission. One of the greatest lessons we can take from this story is that, as believers, our intellect must always submit to Allah’s Wisdom. Furthermore, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
❛Whoever is concerned about the Hereafter, Allah will place richness in his heart, bring his affairs together (meaning, Allah will take care of your concerns), and the world will inevitably come to him.
[But] whoever is concerned about the world, Allah will place poverty between his eyes, disorder his affairs, and he will get nothing of the world but what is decreed for him.❜ 【Sunan at-Tirmidhi 2465 | Graded Authentic by Sh. al-Albani rahimahullah】So be concerned about your akhirah by submitting to Allah, and He will take care of the rest.
