Brothers and sisters, people may get annoyed when we keep making mistakes and saying “Sorry” so many times. This is only human nature. But Allah loves it when we keep coming back to Him in sincere repentance. Losing hope in Allah is what shaytan wants from us.

🔵 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Shaytan said to Allah: ❝I swear by Your Might, O Lord, I will continue to mislead the children of Adam, as long as their souls are in their bodies.❞
The Lord said: ❝I swear by My Might & Majesty, I will continue to forgive them, as long as they seek My forgiveness.❞ [Musnad Ahmad 11367]

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will continue to forgive our sins and shortcomings as long as we sincerely seek His forgiveness.

Consider also this hadith, where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave the greatest example manifestation of rahmah on earth – and that is the rahmah of a mother. There was a particular lady who was frantically searching for someone, perhaps going from one group to another in her search, because her beloved child was missing. So when she finally found her child, she right away took hold and breastfed her baby. She must had been exhausted after all that search, but she was more worried about her baby’s safety and condition than herself.

Upon witnessing this, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked the companions: ❝Do you think this woman would ever throw her child in the fire?❞
The companions said: ❝By Allah, so far as it lies within her power, she would never throw the child in fire!❞
🔵 Thereupon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: ❝Allah is more kind to His servants than this woman is to her child.❞ [Sahih Muslim 2754]

Allahu akbar! Allah’s Rahmah towards you and me is even greater than the rahmah of that mother towards her child. It gives us so much hope.
.
But brothers and sisters, beware of having false hope. Beware of doing sins, after sins, after sins, even planning to commit more sins, while saying: It’s OK, Allah will forgive me. Don’t do this, because it is hateful in the Sight of Allah.

May Allah forgive all of our sins, and make us among those who love to return to Him in sincere repentance. Ameen.
