Have you read the Qur’an and reflected upon its meaning today?
🔵 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “I have left two matters with you. As long as you hold on to them, you will never go astray: They are the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet.” [Al-Muwatta’ Malik]
The Qur’an is the food for our soul, so if we were to cut off our connection with the Qur’an, we would be spiritually dead.
.
🔵 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The example of the one who mentions their Lord (i.e. dhikr of Allah, and the greatest of dhikr of Allah is the Qur’an) and the one who does not, is like the example of the one who is alive and the one who is dead.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari 6407]
.
🔵 He ﷺ also said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah (i.e. the Qur’an), he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that ‘Alif Lam Mim’ is one letter, but rather ‘Alif’ is a letter, ‘Lam’ is a letter, and ‘Mim’ is a letter.” [At-Tirmidhi 2910 | Graded Hasan]
.
Please allocate some time to read the Qur’an every day. Don’t allow a day to pass by without reciting the Qur’an.
