One morning, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was leaving the house of his wife, Juwairiya, may Allah be pleased with her, for the Fajr prayer. When he was leaving, Juwairiya was worshiping Allah at her specific spot in the house.
.
When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ returned home in the forenoon near Dhuha time, he ﷺ saw that Juwairiya remained at the same spot.
.
So he ﷺ asked her: “Are you still in the same position since I left you?”

She replied, yes.

So Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught her this amazing dzikr:
.
“I recited four statements 3 times after I had left you. If they were to be weighed against what you have recited since morning, it would outweigh them. They are:
.
✔️ Subhana Allahi wa bihamdihi | سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

(then he ﷺ added 4 statements to show to the expansive extent of Allah’s Perfection and the extent of all praise belonging to Him):
.
✔️ ‘Adada khalqihi | عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ

✔️ Wa ridaa nafsihi | وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ

✔️ Wa zinata ‘arshihi | وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ

✔️ Wa midaada kalimaatihi | وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ ”

[Sahih Muslim 2726] .
What do these statements mean?
.
🔵 Subhana Allahi wa bihamdihi : Allah is free from imperfection, from every negative attribute; and all praise is due to Allah
.
🔵 ‘Adada khalqihi : By the number of Allah’s creations – the number of human beings, the jinn, the stars, the sands, the ones that we can see and the ones that we cannot see
.
🔵 Wa ridaa nafsihi : And until Allah is pleased
.
🔵 Wa zinata ‘arshihi : And as heavy as Allah’s Throne
.
🔵 Wa midaada kalimaatihi : And by the number of inks and papers that are required to write Allah’s Knowledge (meaning infinite!)
.
Remember to recite this dzikr 3 times after the Fajr prayer. It takes only a few seconds, yet outweighs hours of worship!
