He threw us out of the house and into the streets because we couldn't pay him the rent, and he didn't come back after we cried. They came back, talked to the neighbors, and gave us the end of the week. When we swore an oath to him before God, my younger brothers would go out into the streets and see the neighbors eating. They would stand at their doors so that they would give them bread, even if they broke the ground. They would close the door and throw them out and come back crying.
