The Return from Abyssinia & the First Umrah | #RisalahSeries Part 16 by Majed Mahmoud

Where did Amr ibn al-‘Aas (R) first accept Islam? What did he ask the Prophet (ﷺ) before he took his shahadah? Which famous companion took his shahadah at the same time? In this session, we learn about Muslims who migrated to Madinah from Abyssinia, the Prophet’s (ﷺ) first time visiting Makkah since the Hijrah, the status of women in Islam, and the importance of having hope in people and learning from their experiences.

Assalamualaikum brother, my mother is dead, if the father says ur maternal aunt is jealousy and too much complaining that I got beaten up back in my childhood because of that and asks me to stay away from her, while I personally observed when i got to meet her after many years at a gathering that she was doing okay and she does not need me..my father himself is not bonded to any of the relatives and scared me of my dead mother's relatives that if I were to mingle with them, they will spoil my marital life and they are very sticky, etc. But I m distant to them for one more reason that is they, my father and my in laws follow some traditions that are not encouraged by our prophet Muhammad saw. My father has married again so he is not alone , I meet with respect with them all and when it comes to following the elderly tradition which is a burden on poor families I isolate myself..and when my husband is here with us, he follows it and when he is abroad he is away from such biddah like after the death of person on 4th, 10th, 20th 40th day and then every year there has to be some cooking and gathering n if we eat he gets…what do u say brother majed in this regard?
