We ask Allah to grant us all a full pardoning in this blessed month. A gentle reminder to keep on making the following Prophetic du’a in these last few nights of Ramadan:

Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni.
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me.

SubahanAllah. Shekh- here is a story for you to read.

In a quaint village lived a content family, unknown to the strife of riches. The King, despite his vast wealth, felt a void of happiness and was puzzled by the joy that seemed to flourish in this modest family. Curious, he tasked one of his wise advisors with uncovering the secret to their happiness. The advisor, seizing the opportunity, ventured to the village and presented the humble family with a gift from the King: a pouch containing what was said to be a hundred gold coins. Overwhelmed with gratitude, the family celebrated this unexpected fortune. However, that night, a curious incident unfolded. The wife, eager to experience the weight of their fortune, counted the coins, only to discover 98 instead of the promised hundred. This discovery led to a sleepless night of recounting, searching for missing coins that were never there to begin with. The next day, the advisor returned to find a family robbed of its peace by the pursuit of what was missing, rather than cherishing what was already theirs. By gifting them the two missing coins and restoring their count to a hundred, he illustrated a profound lesson.Upon returning to the King, the advisor shared the transformation of the family's happiness over just two coins. He revealed that their initial joy was overshadowed by the fixation on what they believed they lacked, forgetting to be grateful for the abundance they had received. This lesson underscored the importance of gratitude, of saying "Alhamdulillah" for all that we have, as the true source of contentment lies not in the wealth we seek but in the appreciation of what we already possess.

Every time I hear this story.. I just wonder how many people the 1st "scholar" turned away from Allah. As a revert who practices Islam alone- n is therefore vulnerable to such people- these people are a scourge on the Religion. May Allah guide us all to do better. Ameen.
